So, before we ever even moved to Texas I was aware of the fact that people in Texas live for football. I am very okay with this fact as I love football! Last night was no exception. Let me first, give you a bit of background. We live in Austin. This you know. What you may or may not know, is that Austin is home to the University of Texas. This season, UT is ranked #1 in the country. They have an excellent football team-not to mention the fact that most of Winston's family has graduated from UT and his brother is currently going to school there. Texas Tech is where Winston, not only went to school, but also played football at. Texas Tech was ranked #7 in the country. Before last night, both teams were undefeated. Last night the #1 team in the country and the #7 team in the country faced off in Lubbock Texas. The home field of Texas Tech. It was a great match up, but Tech took the lead early. Towards the end of the 4th quarter Texas had come within 2 points of Tech and we were getting nervous. However, in the final seconds of the game, Graham Harrell found Michael Crabtree who was somehow able to make it into the end zone and win the game for Tech!!!! It was AWESOME!!! We were at a home full of UT fans except for us and the homeowners...so 4 Tech fans against 9 UT fans!! What an upset!!!! GO RED RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah...and I colored my hair black last night!
