It's a Boy!!!!!!

Well, its official! We are going to be blessed with a little boy!!!!
What amazing day today was!!! Our appt was at 8:30am. Poor Winston has been working 12 hour nights and didn't get home until close to 7am. He then stayed awake until about noon!!!
Once at our appt, they took us straight back to the ultrasound room and began the process. The entire ultrasound took about 45 min as she inspected our little Speckle most throughly! She measured things like his head, his femur, his stomach, and the fluid surrounding him. She was very informative and told us all she was doing as she did it. The baby wasn't as active as we have seen him in the past, but she said that is normal at this age as they have moved into their sleeping "patterns" and have less room to move around in. Towards the end she announced that it was time to find out the sex...of course the baby had his legs closed and wasn't moving about. So the tech bounced on my stomach a few times and he opened those little legs to reveal the little boy parts we were looking for!! The tech was great...she freezed that image and explained that "these are the hips and legs and we are looking up at him. Any guess what this is between the legs?!!!" We both knew immediately and were overjoyed!!
From the appt we went to Babies r Us to buy an outfit, now that we know its a boy! Winston picked one out and so did I, then we chose one together. It only took us 5 min!!!
Once home, Winston went to bed and I got to work on the big announcement!!
As our families are spread between three states, we decided to make it fun. So, we called Dominoes Pizza in each state and had pizzas delivered to our parents. On the pizza, we spelled out the word "boy" in pepperonis!! The instructions were simple, and we got a phone call from everybody before the pizza was opened so we could share in the moment!!! It was a blast!!
As for how we announced it here in Washington...we took 4 pizzas to my Moms house. Two said "girl" and two said "boy". Once opened, they were all confused! So we told them that we suppose they will have to wait until desert!! After pizza everybody was dying to know, so we brought out a cake I had made (funny story about that later). It was a white cake, dyed blue, decorated with chocolate frosting that said "its a...?" In blue and pink. When they cut into the cake, they saw it was blue and immediately knew!
We had so much fun announcing it this way and hope our families enjoyed it too!!!
I will post photos soon!!
