Today

Today is Sunday. One of my favorite days of the week. I am home with Winston and our "babies", Bailey and Roxy. Not a lot going on today. We are relaxing around the house, getting numerous things done around the house that get neglected during the week. I have to go to San Antonio tomorrow morning for work, so we are getting the beginning of the week preparations taken care of. Mostly, that consists of food preparations! I am spending the night there, but will be home Tuesday afternoon. The Executive Director for Office Team is in town for a conference, so I have to have my best suit ready to go for a face to face meeting with him...a little nerve racking, yes, but no big deal either.
Winston is still looking for permanent work, but in the meantime will start a temp job through me tomorrow. Not much, but he is happy to be contributing to the household in some way.
Life is crazy busy...the dogs are good. We have a dog park VERY close that we are at every weekend. The dogs LOVE it! There is even a little stream for them to play in!
We tried to help them learn how to swim yesterday...in our apartment complex's swimming pool. That didn't go well. They both are HORRIBLE swimmers and I got severely scratched up and bruised in my efforts to help them learn. My lesson? You really can't teach old dogs new tricks!!!
